Project Information
Constraints/Criteria
One of the criteria for the design of this tiny mobile office space is to adequately incorporate the needs of the client. Structural design constraints that have to be met are that of the steel framing and the design of the trailer including the axles. The codes that will referenced for these designs are from The American National Standards Institute for Recreational Vehicles (ANSI), The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and by The Research Council on Structural Connections (RCSC). The plumbing and electrical constraints are going to be influenced by the requirements stated in the ANSI codes. Another reference that has to be kept within consideration for the design of the tiny mobile office space, specifically the architectural design is the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements for sufficient client privacy as an example. Maintaining a well-balanced design between design constraints that have to be met and the needs of the client is what will govern the final design.
